BOOKS

SPECTACLE VOL.2

Spectacle, now in its second edition, highlights the best projects from the Bio-Based Materials Design Lab, featuring contributions from both students and staff between 2022 and 2024. This publication is part of a bi-annual series and is organized into two sections:

Part 1: Research-Led Teaching presents studio and unit projects conducted in Perth and internationally, covering a variety of themes and contexts.

Part 2: Design Collaboration and Research Innovation showcases applied research projects developed in partnership with industry stakeholders.

This publication provides insight into ongoing research and design activities involving our staff and international collaborators, details about upcoming initiatives in the Research-Led Teaching area, and highlights completed projects from the lab over the past few years. During this period, our staff and alumni have participated in projects that have received international recognition through design awards, which are celebrated in this section.
